Code 3 — Phase 1: The Launch

Intuition: Trusting Your Internal Radar

The Logic: Addiction, chronic stress, and trauma act like "Signal Jammers." They create so much static, white noise, and "Ghost Signals" that you lose the ability to hear your own internal guidance system.

You stop being able to tell the difference between a real survival need and a "glitchy" craving. Intuition is the process of re-learning to hear your "True Vibe" underneath the noise of the hijack.

The Hacked State

Reacting to impulses without questioning them. Can't distinguish real needs from Glitch signals. The static is deafening.

The Aligned State

Responding to data from your own body and values. The radar is clear. You know when to move and when to dock.

Code 3 is the move from "Hacked" to "Aligned."

The Ghost Signal
The Internal Radar & The Ghost Signal

Flying Through a Nebula Full of Ghost Signals

Imagine you're flying through a nebula. Your radar is full of flashing lights and "Ghost Signals." There are two types of signal on your screen:

The Glitch SignalHIGH-FREQ

Loud. Urgent. Demanding. It screams: "WE NEED THIS NOW OR THE SHIP WILL EXPLODE!"

Wants a shortcut. No patience. No reasoning with it.

Your True VibeLOW-FREQ

Quiet. Steady. Patient. It says: "We are just tired. We need to dock and rest."

Knows the path. Doesn't rush. Always pointing toward real need.

"The Glitch wants a shortcut. Intuition knows the path. Your job is not to silence the Glitch — it's to learn to hear the quiet signal more clearly than the loud one."

De-Fragging the Signal
De-Fragging the Signal

How to Filter: We Don't Fight It

In the early days, the Glitch is going to be the loudest voice in the cockpit. We don't try to "fight" it — fighting gives it more energy. We learn to filter it.

The 90-Second Rule

An emotional wave or a craving is a neurochemical event that usually lasts about 90 seconds. If you don't "feed" it with obsessive thought or panic, the signal will naturally fade.

Neuroscientist Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor identified this mechanism — the body flushes the stress chemistry in roughly 90 seconds if not re-triggered.

The Radar Check

When a strong impulse hits — to use, to snap, to run — you perform a manual scan. You ask the "Admin Question."

The Admin Question:

"Is this my True Vibe (my real goals and genuine needs) — or is this the Toxic Glitch (the dopamine hijack running a false alarm)?"

This one question moves the signal-processing from your impulsive Old Brain to your logical PFC. You are running the manual override.

Interactive: The 90-Second Rule

Ride the Neurochemical Wave — Don't Feed It

When the Glitch fires, don't fight it — time it. A craving is a neurochemical event that lasts approximately 90 seconds if you don't feed it with obsessive thought or panic. Press the button and breathe through it.

Feel a craving? Start the timer. Breathe. Don't feed it.

Interoception
The Science of Interoception

Intuition is a Biological Skill

Intuition is actually a biological skill called "Interoception" — the ability to sense the internal state of your body: your heart rate, your breath, the tension in your gut.

What Substances Do

"Mute" interoception. You lose the ability to feel your own signals clearly. The sensors go dark.

What Recovery Does

Turns the sensors back on, one by one. The image on your radar gets sharper as you stay in orbit.

What Mastery Looks Like

You recognize the "Vibe" of a bad situation before you're even in it. Pre-launch threat detection.

As you practice your Brain Hacks and stay in orbit, interoception sharpens. The radar gets cleaner. You start to notice the "Vibe" of a high-gravity situation before you're deep in it — giving you time to run a Code 1 adaptation or plot a new course.

Interactive: The Radar Check

Run the Admin Question on Real Scenarios

Select a scenario. Read the signal. Then run the Admin Question: "Is this the Glitch (the dopamine hijack) or my True Vibe (a real need)?"

Select a scenario above to begin the Radar Check.

Calibrating the Radar

Pilot's Field Notes

Calibrating the Radar: Finding the Glimmers

Your Radar isn't just about avoiding substances — it's about finding Stars. As your interoception improves, you gain the ability to feel "Glimmers" — tiny moments of joy, awe, or connection that the Glitch used to block.

The Move: Daily System Scan

Throughout the day, perform a "System Scan." Notice the sensations in your body without immediately trying to fix them:

Tightness in chest

Anxiety or unprocessed conflict. Radar says: high gravity zone.

Hollowness in stomach

Loneliness or unmet need. Radar says: connection or rest.

Shaking hands

Overload. Radar says: Mode A, dock immediately.

Lightness in body

A Glimmer. Radar says: stay here longer.

The Mastery: Speaking the Language of the Ship

When you are "attuned" to your body, the Glitch has nowhere to hide. You move from:

Hacked Mode:

Reacting to impulses. The Glitch fires → you obey before you even notice it happened.

Aligned Mode:

Responding to data. The Glitch fires → you run the Admin Question → you choose a response. The pause is everything.

Technical Mastery of Intuition:

"This technical mastery is what allows you to fly through the densest asteroid fields without needing the 'Mute Button.' You are no longer guessing. You are Navigating by the data of your own soul."

"The craving is loud. The truth is quiet. Your only job is to learn to hear the quiet voice more clearly than the loud one."

Reflection Prompt 1

First Look — What Lands for You?

"Describe the last time you felt a strong impulse — to use, to snap at someone, to run from a situation. Using the Radar model: what was the sensation in your body? Was it the Glitch (high-frequency, urgent, loud) or your True Vibe (low-frequency, quiet, steady)? Looking back now, what was the signal actually telling you?"

Section banner

"You are not broken. Your radar has been jammed. De-fragging is a skill, not a character trait — and it gets sharper every day."

Reflection Prompt 2

Deeper Look — Applying It to Your Orbit

"Name one 'Glimmer' — a tiny recent moment of real joy, awe, or connection that the Glitch usually drowns out. Maybe it was a perfect song, a laugh with someone, a view from a window. Describe it in sensory detail. This is your True Vibe speaking. What does it sound like when you slow down enough to hear it?"

Navigator Creed · Section 4

"You are no longer guessing. You are Navigating by the data of your own soul."

Navigator Journal Entry

Prompt: "Write out your full Radar Check Protocol. Step 1: What does the Glitch (the High-Frequency Signal) actually feel like in your body — where does it live, how loud does it get, how does it try to trick you? Step 2: What does your True Vibe feel like — what physical sensation tells you you're aligned? Step 3: Write your personal version of the Admin Question that you'll run when the signal is jammed."

Section 4 Conclusion

Code 3 is calibrated. Your radar is coming back online. Section 5 installs Code 4 — Integration: the art of combining Science and Spirit into one unified party. You don't need to pick a side. You're about to learn how both systems win together.
